Earls Colne Open Gardens 2011
This years event was another great success attracting over 140 visitors to the village.
Dispite the odd downpour, we managed to raise £580 for the church "loo fund", which is now completed! The opening ceremony will be on September 11th.
£223 was raised through tea and cake sales at various gardens benefitting the following charities "Tree Top Appeal" East Anglian Childrens Hospice,St. Helena Hospice and Essex Air Ambulance
Thank you to all those who supported the event, all volunters and helpers in St. Andrews church,everyone at Fork 'Andles for selling tickets on the day while trying to run your shop and a big Thank you to all those who opened your gardens. Without you it couldn't happen!
Earls Colne Open Gardens from now on will be held biennially, so the next event will be in 2013.
